If you’re the parent of a budding child star, who do you call to learn how not to screw up your kid? Someone whose parents pulled a doozy on him. Enter Danny Bonaduce, host of I Know My Kid's a Star (Thursdays at 10 pm/ET), VH1’s new reality competition featuring 10 parent-child pairs fighting for $50,000, a management contract and their ticket to stardom. We caught up with Bonaduce for the inside scoop.
Bonaduce to Host new show "I know my Kids a Star"

Ten child/parent teams from all across the country compete to win a chance to meet casting agents, Hollywood insiders, receive national television exposure, and $50,000 in prize money. Our host is Danny Bonaduce, a former child actor who has seen both of the positive and negative effects for being a child star. In each episode, the children compete against each other in a series of challenges designed to give them a chance to showcase the talents that are required for success as a child performer in Hollywood.
L.A. judge: Fairplay must amend suit over Bonaduce altercation

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Reality TV figure Jonny Fairplay will have to provide a court with more details about his tooth-busting dust-up with Danny Bonaduce before his lawsuit against producers of an awards show can go forward. "I think more facts should be set forth," Superior Court Judge Michael C. Solner ruled Tuesday.
